A Safe Home, A New Hope
West Niagara Second Stage provides transitional housing and counselling to women and children who are in or have left abusive situations. We provide survivors with temporary housing that is integrated into the community. Counselling (free of charge) is also available to abused women who do not require housing. Our Transitional and Housing Support Worker can assist women in identifying and connecting with the kinds of supports and services required to establish safe, meaningful lives in the community.

A Brief History
Started by a group of women from the communities of Grimsby, Beamsville, and Smithville who were concerned by the lack of services available to victims of domestic violence. WNSS was incorporated as a separate charitable entity in 2000, although its been in operation since 1998 under the parent organization of Lincoln Community Against Violence.

If you are concerned about the safety of using your home computer, if possible, use a computer at a public library, a school, an internet café, or at the home of a trusted friend. |
